Workshop With Fashion Designer

On 27 November we the students of VVStrocks Enterprise attended a workshop related to printing on fabric and fashion designing.It was conducted by an expert of fashion industry who was an alumni of VV DAV , Ms.Chetna.She told us many ways to print a design or any picture on fabric.The basic method which was also used by us for printing T-shirts was of HP sheets. We came to know about ma ny more interesting methods. The first was of screen printing which needed lots of manual power and care of many circumstances like temperature, light,etc.In this a frame like board is made and print on T-shirt is done with the help of pigment colours. Then the next method was printing by using Monster Machine ,one of the famous printing machines. This saves a lot of time. Then she told us about Ink Jet Machine,one of the tiny machines. Through it direct printing is done. Then last method but not the least Block Printing method whicj requires lot  of skills and is time consuming. She being a VVDAVian,promised us to arrange the equipments so that we can print in our own school. We enjoyed this knowledgable workshop which will help in our enterprise's printing.
